Green Christmas at Melia Kuala Lumpur!

Melia Kuala Lumpur is advocating the preservation of the environment through its green Christmas decorations. This year, all Christmas trees in the hotel have been decorated only with recycled material and LED lights. Executive Housekeeper, Ms. Tan Mei Hoong and her team used plastic water bottles, tissue rolls and aluminium cans. The hotel also changed all the Christmas lights to energy efficient LED lights. While LED lights cost more than incandescent lights, they consume less power and generate less heat.
