How To Save a Life


At Melia Kuala Lumpur, safety is our top priority. In line with this, we organised a CPR and First Aid Training session for our associates. The objective of the training is to equip associates with knowledge of CPR in First Aid in the event of an emergency.

The training which spanned over a period of two days was conducted by Mr. A Rasadurai and his two associates, Mr. Ganeson and Mr. Bala. Mr. Rasadurai is a seasoned veteran in the field of Occupational Health & Safety/ First Aid and CPR with over 30 years of experience working in the Ministry of Health and the National Institute Occupational Safety and Health.

Mr. Rasadurai’s unique approach made the training both a fulfilling and exciting experience for the associates. Throughout the training, associates were thought the latest in life-saving techniques through theory and practical sessions, role-plays with fascinating scenarios and props.

All 25 associates also sat for an exam and will be certified 1st Aiders making Melia Kuala Lumpur a safer place!
